Jonathan Velasco is from Southern California in a small town called Hemet.
He is the Co-founder of Diamond Valley RC (DVRC), a thriving RC group based in the Inland Empire, Southern California. The name Diamond Valley comes from the local Lake called Diamond Valley Lake. He and his partner started DVRC during the COVID-19 pandemic as a mental health outlet. Then became a group of individuals with the same desires to build, race, and crawl RCs.
DVRC created a space for local RC enthusiasts to connect, share, and grow their passion for RC together. Since its inception, the group has continued to expand, fostering a strong community focused on local RC growth, events, and camaraderie. DVRC is not looking to be the biggest, but to provide an amazing RC community. Members have built with the help of their community multiple outside courses, and continue to construct their indoor course at Dynamic Hobbies a local hobby shop in Hemet CA. DVRC remains dedicated to bringing RC hobbyists together and supporting the ever-evolving scene in SoCal.
Jonathan has developed knowledge and experience in all RC classes from 1/24 scale up to 1/6 scale RC vehicles, from crawlers to track and off-road vehicles. His love for the RC continues to grow and has shown no sign of slowing down! His goal is to bring people together and experience the same love and passion he has experienced in the hobby.
