MEUS Racing Aluminum Alloy TRX4M Transmission Gearbox With Dual Speed 15.7:1 and 56.6:1 for TRAXXAS TRX4M 1/18 RC Crawlers Upgrade Parts.
Key Features:
- 1. Use high-quality aluminum alloy material and steel gears, surface oxidation treatment, and be sturdy and durable.
- 2. Control the servo through CH3 and manually switch gears to two programs. Use the CH3 control program. The original factory remote control does not work together.
- 3. High speed 15.7:1, and low speed 56.6:1 provide two crawling speeds, and can easily cope with various road conditions.
- 4. Suitable for TRX4M original frame or other frames with large enough space.
- 5. The gearbox is suitable for 2mm motor shaft brushless motors.
- 6. This 2-speed transmission can work with the Injora LCG carbon fiber frame.
- 7. If the motor output shaft size is 2mm, it would work with this 2-speed transmission.
Note: TRX4M 2-speed transmission Does not fit MEUS ripper chassis and MEUS MB18.
(Reason: Because the 2-speed gearbox's height is too high. The MB18 or ripper's cab cannot be placed into this gearbox. The cab needs to be removed and some cutting work needs to be done. So by default, it is not compatible.)

Note:
1. This Dual Speed Transmission doesn't work with a 370 motor, because the installation hole positions differ.
2. The Dual Speed Transmission also works with ME-8B transmitters and receivers.
3. There is no problem with the installation hole position, but after installation, it can't install the brush motor, it needs some shorter motors, otherwise it will affect the steering structure. At the same time, a lot of cutting is required for the frame MB18. The compatibility is not very good.

1. Processing time

7. Shipping Method
We use YunExpress. After being shipped to the destination country, it will be handed over to the local logistics provider for delivery.

The metal gears are leaps and bounds better than the weak traxxas plastic gears in their gearbox and the ability to shift with a servo is awesome. I do wish the low gear wasn't as low as it currently is at 56.6 as there is not enough wheel speed without shifting I would like to see this with a low gear in the low 40s as an option otherwise great build quality would highly recommend.
Good quality overall, made in aluminium nicely finished. The motor runs smoothly. Not yet installed in the TRX4M Defender.
Note: The shifting pin is blocked by an aluminium bracket by default. If you need the 2 speed capability + neutral you have to remove this bracket and install the recommended servo.
Great product
I received the gearbox and had problems with it . I tried to reach out to Meus Racing but never heard back from anyone .
I tried to find replacement parts local and had no luck . Ended up ordering another whole gearbox to hopfully get the parts i need.
Im still waiting to receive the 2nd gearbox i ordered .
Overall the gearbox has great machining and quaility but i had issues with the small bearing style and lack of communication for customer service .
